Information we collect

We may receive account information used to identify you, including your name and email address. We also process information you choose to add to Koan, such as brand profiles, campaign briefs, creative assets, comments, approvals, and other workspace content.

When you connect a third-party service such as Meta, we may process the account identifiers, permissions, advertising account information, campaign data, performance data, and authorization credentials required to provide the connection. We may also collect basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve Koan.

How we use information

We use information to provide Koan's creative, campaign-management, approval, analytics, and publishing features; maintain connected services; troubleshoot problems; protect the service; and respond to support or deletion requests.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that host or support Koan and with services you choose to connect, such as Meta, when necessary to perform the actions you request. Those third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate Koan, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may disconnect a third-party integration or request deletion of your Koan data at any time. See our Data Deletion Instructions.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Koan is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13.
